A self-service laundry also known as coin laundry or coin wash is a facility offered by centers which do dry cleaning in Melbourne. Clothes are washed and dried without any personalized professional help at these centers which are also commonly known as washaterias or Laundromats.
Most homes have their own washers and driers; coin laundry is very popular with few apartment dwellers and those who do not own a machine. This service is also used by people who have own machines, for large bedding and other items that residential washers cannot accommodate.
